The Girls Network

Project summary:
We worked with The Girls Network to invite 12 girls from Harris Academy Peckham to learn aerial hoop and silks after school for 6 weeks.

Overrall aim:
The aims of these sessions where to enable girls ages 14-16, who were interested in a performance career to learn aerial from professional circus artists. They were able to chat to them and ask them questions about the lifestyle.
Aerial training is very expensive and this makes it hard for those from lower socio economic backgrounds to get into. We wanted to break down this barrier, by offering free training and an option to give it a go.

See what they got up to here!

Testimonial from a happy customer

When I first came, I thought there was no way I would ever be able to hold myself up. It has really made me think about what else I assume I can't do without even trying! - Student
