Our Background

Open Aerial's parent company (Flying Fantastic) was set up in 2011 by husband and wife team, Chris and Edel Wigan, with the aim of getting London flying. Through a busy timetable of drop-in classes, at multiple venues across central London, the company strives to offer customers the best and widest range of aerial classes possible, taught by the best teachers around.

Accessibility - at the heart of it all

Since the first class in 2011, Flying Fantastic has strived to make aerial as accessible as possible. Classes maintain strict ratios of students to trainers to ensure that everyone gets the attention they deserve.
Flying Fantastic's two flagship venues are kitted out with the best equipment available and deliver the best classes around.

We've found that with aerial arts, there is always something for everyone. The range of disciplines available mean we can tailor sessions to the needs of the participants. For example; we've found slings (the one that looks a bit like a hamock) to be particularly good for wheelchair users as they provide support.

Open Aerial currently runs funded programmes, and not regular classes; but we would like to work up to a regular class for disabled adults. If this is of interest to you, drop us a line!
